We've added support for SmartBody to run on a Flash player, such as inside a web browser.
We did this by cross-compiling the SmartBody code base using flascc to a .swf file. There are still some issues related to lip syncing, but essentially the entire platforms runs in the Flash virtual machine. We were able to get 60 fps with a reduced sized model (~5000 polygons, the full 50k polygon version of the Brad character runs around 15 fps, mostly due to our software-based rendering) using Flash's OpenGL subset.
