Hi,

I am using SmartBody to study direction-giving. I have a script running but would live to hide the editors on the left side. Is there a way to do that? I tried running the -noeditor command nothing happened. I am running SmartBody on a Windows 7 pc. Thanks for your help.

What version of SmartBody are you using?

sbgui.exe -noeditor

should work.

Thanks for responding. I am running release win32 6139. Running that line didn't hide the editors. Here is what I get:

Ok, it looks like the -noeditor option was added in r6145. Are you using the SDK or are you building from source code? If you build from source, you'll be able to use the latest (r6326 or so).

If you aren't building from source, I'll have to create a new distribution since the one available for windows download isn't current enough for your purpose.

Hi Ari,

I'm was using the SDK. I attempted to build from the source code but had trouble building the solution with Microsoft Visual Studio 2015.

There is a functioning build for vs2015 in the following branch in the source repository:

branches / fast / smartbody-toolkit-5542 /

That's the version that is used in the Virtual Human Toolkit. It is a number of revisions behind the trunk, but it should work with VS2015. When I have some time I'll integrate those changes back into the trunk.
