Hello everyone,

Can someone help me build SBKinectViewer? It says "Error 1 error C1083: Cannot open include file: 'vhmsg-tt.h': No such file or directory c:\users\amour\desktop\lib\sbkinectviewer
uiimpl.cpp 15 1 SBKinectViewer".

And even if I supply the missing files from the repository, visual studio says there are still missing files. Someone help me please because I've been stuck here for almost a week. Appreciate all the help. Thanks! ūüôā

That file should be in the lib\vhmsg\vhmsg-c\include directory.

You shouldn't build those files in the repository, but rather right click on the project to get the properties, under:

configuation properties -> C/C++ -> Additional include directories

and make sure the path to vhmsg\vhmsg-c\include is there

You'll also need to make sure the library directory exists as well:

configuation properties -> Linker -> Additional library directories

Okay I got it. But where can I find the lib\vhmsg\vhmsg-c\include directory? I've been searching for it and I only found a vhmsg folder under trunk/android directory but I don't think it's the same folder that I need for the configuration properties.

Thank you Ari, for the help and fast response

If you have downloading the source code from the trunk, it should be under: smartbody/lib/vhmsg/vhmg-c which is linked as an external SVN library (in other words, when you download the source code, there is an instruction to also fetch data from other SVN repositories, here's a direct link: https://svn.ict.usc.edu/svn_vh_public/trunk/lib/vhmsg).

Hi Ari,

I cannot find the said library directories for the Linker anywhere even with the link that you gave me. I tried the include folder but failed as well. I get this error this time " Error 1 error LNK1104: cannot open file 'vhcl_d.lib' "

I am using TortoiseSVN to export files from the SVN so I'm not sure if I am missing some files every time I pull something as I'm not quite familiar using those kind of stuff.

Again, thank you Ari for the help

That error tells me that you've compiled it successfully, that you are building it in debug mode, and that you are missing the vhcl libraries. There is a project called vhcl under the 'libs' folder in the main solution; you need to build that first. Also, I would recommend  building in Release mode instead of Debug mode.
