I have separated the Python API documentation from the User Manual. They can both be found under the Documentation link, and the manual is located in the top level of the source code repository.

Creating custom model and exporting it into smartbody

3D Body Creation for SmartBody

1. Create a model in T-pose. The scale of the Character should be around 200cm.
2. Create joints with the correct hierarchy and naming. Please refer to the SmartBody manual.(pages 29-31)
3. Freeze transform all the joints. (Important)
4. Smooth bind the 3D model to the joint and apply proper skinning.
5. Export the model using OgreMax exporter.
6. Select the base joint and export in Collada (.DAE) format.
